(2024) Service Bulletin 24049 Rev A: Approval of an updated manual electric trim (MET) speed for Cirrus SR22 aircraft

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

GFC 500 autopilot systems installed in Cirrus SR22 aircraft using GFC 500 Part 23 AML STC SA01866WI are affected.

CERTIFICATION AUTHORIZATION:

STC SA01866WI MDL Revision 90

COMPLIANCE:

Optional: STC Service Bulletin 24049 may be incorporated at the owner’s discretion.

DOCUMENTATION CONSIDERATIONS:

The Airplane Flight Manual Supplement GFC 500 Autopilot with ESP™ Installed in Cirrus SR22, 190-02291-55 Rev. 4 must be provided to the aircraft operator/owner.

PURPOSE:

This STC Service Bulletin provides notification of an update to STC SA01866WI, GFC 500 STC, MDL Revision 90.

Revision 90 approves GI 275 Software Version 3.10 and G5 Software Version 8.26. These software versions are required to update the manual electric trim (MET) speed setting.
