Prompted Route calculation mode

The three main route calculation modes are Faster Time, Shorter Distance, and Less Fuel. There may also be an Off Road mode for straight-line routing (bearing).

A fourth calculation mode is Prompted. When the nuvi is set to a Prompted calculation mode, it will calculate routes using all three non-off-road calculation modes then allow you to select the route you prefer.

To turn on Prompted route calculation:

1. Power the device on
   
2. Touch Tools
3. Touch Settings
4. Touch Navigation
5. Touch Automobile
   • On the dezl 560, you may also select Truck or RV
6. Touch nuRoute
7. Touch Calculation Mode
8. Scroll down and touch Prompted
9. Touch Save

Once the route has been calculated, you will see it displayed on the map. Touch the up and down arrows on the left side of the screen to preview all three possible route calculations. Once you've decided upon your desired route, touch the Go! button while that route is selected.
