Print list of waypoints, route instructions, or maps from MapSource

MapSource® mapping software may not allow the printing of certain maps, depending on the map product, however MapSource software can be used to print text instructions for routes and your waypoints.

To print text instructions for a route created in, or transferred to the MapSource program:

1. Right-click on the route in the Routes tab or on the map
2. Click Route Properties
3. Click the Directions tab
4. Click Print Directions...

The Print window can be used to adjust printer settings as desired and print the text-only list of instructions for the selected route.

To print a copy of a list of waypoints from within the MapSource program:

1. Open the MapSource program
2. Open a saved file with waypoints already created, or manually create all waypoints that are desired
3. Click File in the top left corner of MapSource
4. Click Save As
5. Choose a convenient location to save the list of waypoints
6. Enter a name for the list of waypoints in the File Name box
7. Click on the Save As Type drop-down menu and choose Text (Tab delimited) (*.txt)
8. Click the Save button

Once saved, open this new text document. In the text editing program, click File then Print. The list of waypoints will now be printed.
