Managing Recently Found Places on the Alpha XL

The Recent list temporarily stores your last 50 entries. Once you locate 50 places, the oldest entry disappears and the newest location is added to the top.

Recent locations can be added to your Saved places. You cannot delete individual items from the Recent list.

Saving a Recently Found Location

1. Touch Search

2. Touch Recent

3. Touch the location you want to save

4. Touch the info button

5. Touch Save

6. Type a name if desired and touch Done or Save

The location may now be accessed in your device's Saved or Waypoints folder. Repeat these steps as needed.

Clearing the Recently Found List

1. Touch Search

2. Touch Recent

3. Touch the menu button (three horizontal lines)

4. Touch Clear

5. Touch Yes

The Recent list is now cleared.
