Understanding Future Elevation Plot on My Fitness Watch

Some watches have the ability to provide a future elevation plot which shows the upcoming elevation changes for the terrain you are navigating. To get a future elevation plot, the watch needs elevation data for where you will be going, either from a course or a saved GPS activity. It is recommended to use a course to get the most accurate elevation data.

NOTE: Elevation Plot is only available on outdoor activities that support navigation and courses.
