Why Am I Not Seeing Any Sleep Data in Garmin Connect?

If you are not seeing your sleep data in Garmin Connect, see - My Sleep Statistics Are Not Displaying in Garmin Connect.

Why Did My Sleep Data Change?

Sleep windows may recalculate throughout the day to verify and distinguish between waking up early and going back to sleep vs being up for the entire day. You may notice slight variances in your complete sleep window as these calculations update. Even with these recalculations, sleep monitoring can still stop if the device detects movement that indicates you've entered an "awake" state for an extended period of time during the night.

To edit sleep data for the current day see, Setting Sleep and Wake Window Times in Garmin Connect.

What Sleep Data Will I See Without Advanced Sleep Monitoring

If you have a Garmin watch that does not support Advanced Sleep Monitoring but does track sleep, you will be able to see sleep movement such as deep sleep, light sleep, and periods of being awake. If your watch does not have an optical heart rate sensor or you have the sensor disabled, the sleep tracking will be based off of movement.

Why Is the Sleep Movement Graph Different From the Daily Summary?

NOTE: You will only see a movement graph in the sleep when advanced sleep monitoring (ASM) data is not available. If the ASM data is present you will see Awake/Restlessness data.

The movement graph in the Daily Summary shows movement with steps.

Heart Rate During Sleep Screenshot

When you're sleeping, a different type of movement is measured, specifically movement intensity. Movement intensity is not necessarily interpreted as steps.
