How to Delete Scorecards From an Approach

The Approach® golf devices store past scorecards in the internal memory of the device.

The Approach G6, G7, G8 and G30 have an option to delete the scorecards from the menu of the device. See owner's manual for instructions.

For all other devices, they need to be connected to a computer1 to delete the scorecard files.

Deleting Scorecards from the Internal Memory

  1. Connect your Approach to a computer using a USB cable.

  2. Locate and open the Garmin Approach drive.

    • Windows: Located under This PC.

    • Mac: Located in Finder.

  3. Open the Garmin folder.

  4. Open the Data folder (if available).

  5. Open the Scorecards or Score folder.

  6. Delete desired scorecards.
NOTE: Empty Trash if on a Mac.

The scorecards will now be deleted.
