How to get an Automotive Device out of Demo Mode

When a device is in demo mode, you may see indicators such as these:

• The device may display a slideshow or demonstration video.
• The device might not connect properly to your computer for file transfers or for use with Garmin software.
• You may be able to use the regular navigation menus, but the device does not go out of simulation mode.
  

If your device is in demo mode, you may disable this mode by simply driving around with the device, traveling at least 10 miles per hour for at least 30 seconds.
