Comparing Activities in Garmin Connect

The web version of the Garmin Connect™ platform allows you to compare activities you have recorded and uploaded to your account. Using this feature, you can compare a variety of recorded metrics side-by-side, along with a dot racer feature that allows you to visualize the location between activities from start to finish.

Instructions to Compare Your Personal Activities in Garmin Connect

To compare two to four of your own recorded activities side-by-side, follow these steps:

  1. From a web browser sign into your Garmin Connect account.

  2. Select Activities from the expanded navigation bar on the left.

  3. Select All Activities.

  4. Choose up to 4 activities by hovering over and clicking on them. Selected activities will turn dark gray.

  5. Select the blue Compare button towards the top of the page.


Instructions to Compare Your Activities Against a Connection's

To compare an activity recorded by a connection to up to three of your own activities, follow these steps:

  1. From a web browser sign into your Garmin Connect account.

  2. Select Connections from the expanded navigation menu on the left.

  3. Select the name of a connection.

  4. Select an activity from the connection's timeline that you want to compare.

    • NOTE: If you do not see the activity in your connection's timeline, their privacy settings may not allow for the activity to be viewed by you. You must be able to view the activity to compare it to your own.

  5. Select the gear icon (gear icon) from the top right corner.

  6. Select Compare from the drop-down list.

  7. Choose up to 3 of your activities by hovering over and clicking on them. Selected activities will turn dark gray.

  8. Select the blue Compare button towards the top of the page.
