Battery Model Recommendations for Vector 3/3S or Rally Series Power Pedals

Based on extensive testing, Garmin recommends the following battery types for the Vector™ 3 and Rally™ series power meter systems.

NOTE: Garmin recommends replacing all of the batteries at the same time. Do not mix the battery types.

Energizer CR1/3N (2L76), 1 per pedal
- Most recommended battery type for the Rally series pedals.
- Using this type of battery would significantly reduce fretting due to road vibration.
Energizer LR44 (A76BP or A76BPZ), 2 per pedal
Energizer SR44 (357 or 303), 2 per pedal
- SR44 batteries have not been tested for battery life however are expected to last longer than LR44 batteries.
- SR44 batteries may perform better in cold temperatures.
Varta LR44 (V13GA), 2 per pedal

What Is the Expected Battery Life for the Vector 3/3S or Rally Series Power Pedals?

Garmin expects up to 120 hours of battery life before you will need to change your batteries.

Note the following:

Battery life specification is with cycling dynamics enabled and riding in normal riding temperatures. Battery life can be extended if cycling dynamics are disabled.
Cold weather riding may reduce battery life.
