Training With ANT+ Fitness Equipment

Several fitness equipment manufacturers* have integrated an ANT+ module in their equipment (treadmill, row machine, elliptical trainer, stationary bike).

Compatible fitness equipment manufacturers have placed a symbol on the equipment that indicates it has an ANT+ module. The symbol will look like the following:

This ANT+ module sends training session data from the machine back to the device. The data can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect for analysis. Certain data can be seen on the device depending on what mode is selected. When the fitness equipment devices are in RUN mode they will display treadmill information, and when they are in BIKE mode they will display indoor bike information. All other fitness equipment is mapped to GENERAL mode and will display the appropriate data fields for that mode.

Refer to your device's Owner's Manual to see if it is compatible with fitness equipment.
