Garmin Connect Password Recovery

Garmin Connect™ account password recovery can be done through either the Garmin Connect app or the Garmin Connect website from a PC.

NOTE: If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your Garmin Connect account, contact Product Support for further assistance.

Select an option below to begin.


Garmin Connect App

NOTE: Selecting Forgot Password 6 or more times in the last 30 days may cause your account to be locked temporarily. Contact your local Product Support team for further assistance.

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app.

  2. Select Sign in.

  3. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

  4. Select Forgot Password.

  5. Enter the Email Address associated with your Garmin account.

  6. If the email address you entered matches one we have on file, you will receive a temporary password via email.

    • Check your inbox, spam, and junk folder.

  7. Return to the Garmin Connect app to sign in using the case-sensitive temporary password.

  8. After signing in with the temporary password, you will be prompted to update your password.


Garmin Connect Web

  1. From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.

  2. Select Forgot Password.

  3. Enter the Email Address associated with your Garmin account.

  4. If the email address you entered matches one we have on file, you will receive a temporary password via email.

    • Check your inbox, spam, and junk folder.

  5. Return to the Garmin Connect webpage to sign in using the case-sensitive temporary password.

  6. After signing in with the temporary password, you will be prompted to update your password.
