Low Bridge Warnings when Navigating without a Destination

Your device will provide low bridge clearance alerts¹ based on your vehicle profile even if a route hasn't been calculated. The distance at which this alert appears can vary depending on the road, but it should provide sufficient distance to choose an alternative route.  For best results, calculate a route to your destination. Bridges shorter than the vehicle profile setting will be avoided on the recommended route automatically.
