Starting A Round Of Golf On Any Hole from a Fitness Watch

A round of golf can be started on any hole within a course on any compatible devices like the Approach®, Forerunner®, fēnix®, or vívo watches and still utilize automatic hole transitions. For example: a Shotgun start. 

When you activate a course, the devices will set your starting hole as follows:

• If the Approach does not show your preferred starting hole, use either the up and down buttons on the device or on the touchscreen of the device until you reach your starting hole.

• If you are not within 30 meters of a tee box of a hole or are within range of the first hole, the first hole will be utilized.

• If you are within 30 meters of the tee box of a hole, that hole will be utilized. (Typically the furthest tee box from the hole is utilized to determine this)
