Index BPM Battery Change Tips

The battery cover for your Index™ BPM Smart Blood Pressure Monitor is located along the bottom edge of the device opposite of the display. Fold back the edge of the cuff to expose the button to release the battery cover. Press the button firmly and life the cover away from the housing to replace the batteries. When changing the batteries, Garmin® recommends the following tips:

• Use replaceable AAA alkaline batteries.

• Ensure the batteries are installed correctly. See image below and the owner’s manual for instructions.

• Ensure the batteries are new.

• Confirm the battery contacts are not obstructed. 

• Use only high quality batteries (avoid store brand or private label batteries).
