Pairing vivoactive to Garmin Connect Mobile.
When paired with your device, the Garmin Connect Mobile app can wirelessly upload and share fitness data with the Garmin Connect website as well as send smart notifications from your smartphone to your wrist.
To pair your vivoactive choose your phone's platform:
iOS:
- Open Connect Mobile app on iOS device
- Touch More (icon bottom right corner)
- Touch Garmin Devices
- Touch Add Device
- Touch Browse all compatible devices
- Touch vivo
- Touch vivoactive
- Complete Personal Information
- On the vivoactive, Press Action key (Button on right side of watch)
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Settings
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Bluetooth
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Pair Mobile Device
- Touch Start on Garmin Connect Mobile app
- Touch Yes when prompted to pair with vivoactive
- Type in Passkey displayed on watch and confirm the pairing request
- Touch Done
Android:
- Open Connect Mobile app on Android device
- Touch Menu icon (3 horizontal lines in upper left corner)
- Touch Garmin Devices
- Touch Add Device
- Touch Browse all compatible devices
- Touch vivo
- Touch vivoactive
- Complete Personal Information
- Verify personal information and touch Next
- On the vivoactive, Press Action key (Button on right side of watch)
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Settings
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Bluetooth
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Pair Mobile Device
- Touch Search for Device in Garmin Connect Mobile app
- Touch Yes when prompted to pair with vivoactive
- Type in Passkey displayed on watch and confirm pairing request
- Ensure the "Allow vivoactive to access your contacts and call history" box is checked (Android 6.0+)
- Touch OK
Windows:
- Open the Connect Mobile app on Windows device
- Touch Menu icon (3 horizontal lines in upper left corner)
- Touch Garmin Devices
- Touch Add Device
- Touch Browse all compatible devices
- Touch vivo
- Touch vivoactive
- On the vivoactive, Press Action key (Button on right side of watch)
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Settings
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Bluetooth
- On the vivoactive, swipe left and touch Pair Mobile Device
- In the Connect Mobile app, touch Add Device
- Once discovered, touch the name of the device to pair
- When requested, type or verify the PIN displayed on device and touch Allow
- After connection is successful, touch Close and continue
- Complete Personal Information
- If connection fails, touch Close and troubleshoot pairing
- If permissions are requested, touch Yes
- Wait for Setup and initial Sync to complete
- Touch Done
The vivoactive is successfully paired with the Garmin Connect Mobile app.
