COMPLIANCE:
Recommended: Compliance with this Service Bulletin is recommended at the next scheduled maintenance interval for installations with Main Software Version 20.10 through 20.23.
For all other installations this service bulletin is optional.
PURPOSE:
GTN Xi Series Main Software Version 20.24 fixes an issue with the use of the GPS Antenna Height Above Ground configuration setting. This setting is used to determine the GPS altitude of the airplane by compensating for the mounting height of the GPS antenna on the aircraft.
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
For GTN Xi installations with Main Software Versions 20.10 through 20.23, this modification is warranty reimbursable with a deadline of August 31, 2023.
For all other installations this service bulletin is not warranty reimbursable.
