"Information could not be written to the external media" Message on a Honda Navigation System

Follow the Steps Below if your Honda Navigation System Displays the Message "Information could not be written to the external media":

1. Press and hold the Audio button (power button) until you get a message to reboot
   • This button is located at the top of the display screen
2. Touch Yes
3. Launch the navigation system
4. Touch Settings
5. Touch Device
6. Touch Update Map
7. Follow the on-screen prompts

This should resolve the issue. Return to the dealer to have your navigation system serviced if these instructions do not resolve the error message.
