No More Vertical Travel for Top Pin Placement

If you run out of vertical travel on the rail when initially calibrating the Xero® A1 or Xero® A1i bow sight, or you simply desire a higher or lower top pin than initially calibrated, the Custom Top Pin Placement feature can be used.

To use Custom Top Pin Placement:

1. From the main menu, select 
2. Select Manual Adjustment
3. Select Custom Top Pin Placement
4. Select Yes
5. Use Left/Right arrow keys to place the top pin in the desired position
6. Press OK
7. Align reticle circle with pin and press trigger to range
8. Select Yes to confirm range
9. Sight in pin mechanically using vertical and horizontal rails
10. Select Done
11. Use curves to align pin to reticle at full draw
    • It may be necessary to move pin on vertical rail after reticle is aligned
    • If any vertical adjustment is made it may also be necessary to adjust reticle pitch
12. Select Done
13. Shoot an arrow using pin to test accuracy
    • Select Yes if accurate
    • Select No if not accurate and return to step 8
14. Follow prompts on device to calibrate at least 2 more ranges
