Garmin StreetPilot Onboard App Wikipedia

Wikipedia is a free feature offered on our Garmin USA/North American applications. When Wikipedia is integrated, it gives you the opportunity to find out more in-depth information about the places in your area or on your travels. To activate this feature, follow these steps:

  1. On the main menu of the application (where it displays "Where To?" and "View Map"), tap on "Extras".
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the "Extras" page and tap on "Wikipedia".
  3. Tap on the "Free" icon located in the upper right corner of this page.
  4. Tap on "Install".

The app will then begin downloading, and you should see a progress bar on the page. To use this feature, simply tap on one of the blue dots on the "Browse Map" screen, then tap on the Wikipedia icons (seen as a circled "W") or scroll down to the Wikipedia category in the points of interest listings.
