The Area Calculation feature is a type of specialized track that once a designated area has been walked, the device will give a calculation total in square feet or square meters for that area.
The following handheld models offer the Area Calculation feature. Select your device below for instructions.
Press menu twice to access the main menu.
Select Area Calculation.
NOTE: You may need to edit the main menu to add area calculation.
Press Start.
Travel the perimeter of the area.
Select Calculate when finished.
Press menu twice to access the main menu.
Select Track Manager.
Select a saved track.
Select View Map.
Press menu.
Select Review Track.
Select Area Calculation.
NOTE: You may need to edit the main menu to add area calculation.
Press OK to start calculation function.
Travel the perimeter of the area.
Press OK when finished.
Select Save.
Select Saved.
Select Activities.
Select a saved activity.
Press OK.
Select All Stats, then press 
to scroll down.
Press 
to open the app drawer.
Select Area Calculation.
NOTE: You may need to edit the main menu to add area calculation.
Press Start.
Travel the perimeter of the area.
Select Calculate when finished.
