Resetting the Odometer on a Outdoor Handheld
There are two possible odometer data field settings on outdoor handheld devices: Trip Odometer and Odometer. Trip Odometer will be an ongoing recording of the current trip. This will continue recording until the trip data is reset.
Resetting Trip Odometer Data
From the main menu or app list, select Setup, or select Settings > System, depending on the device model.
Select Reset.
Select Reset Trip Data.
Select Yes or Confirm when prompted.
This will reset all data pertaining to the current trip.
The Odometer data field will be an ongoing recording of all trips performed on device. This cannot be reset using the Reset Trip Data option. A master reset will be required to reset the Odometer. See Related for master reset instructions.
