If prompted to allow downloads on explore.garmin.com, click Allow.
Click the down arrow on your toolbar, then double-click the file name to open it.

Unable to Update inReach Sync on a Mac Computer
If you are prompted to update the inReach® Sync application but clicking the Update button does not begin a download, follow the instructions below to manually download and install the update to your computer.
Installing the Latest Version of inReach Sync
NOTE: inReach Sync for Mac is intended for Intel-based Mac computers. For Mac computers that use Apple silicon, installing Rosetta may enable the computer to use inReach Sync. For more details, see - Apple Support: If you need to install Rosetta on your Mac.
Sign in at explore.garmin.com.
Select PLANS & DEVICES.
Select Sync & Update.
Select Windows or Mac to start the download.
NOTE: Either Windows or Mac link can be used as they will download the same file.
If you encounter an error while installing inReach Sync, uninstall any older versions of the Sync application, then try again.
Locate the download on your computer and open it.
NOTE: On Mac, the file should appear on your desktop
Follow onscreen prompts to complete installation.
