Touchscreen Sensitivity on the Montana 700 Series
The Montana® 700, 700i, 710, 710i, 750i, and 760i outdoor handhelds have a feature to change the touchscreen sensitivity. This is helpful if you plan to wear gloves when using your Montana handheld.
Changing the Touchscreen Sensitivity
Touch
to reach the main menu.
Select Setup.
Select Accessibility.
Select Touch Sensitivity.
Select Rain, Normal, or Glove.
Your setting should now be saved.
Montana 700 Series Handhelds Touchscreen Settings
The available touchscreen settings will adjust the sensitivity level for various use cases listed below:
Rain: Helps the device ignore false touchscreen input in rainy weather.
Normal: Default sensitivity level for normal use.
Glove: Helps the device respond to touchscreen input when the user is wearing gloves.
