Changing the Text Language on a nüvi® 295W if you can't Read it

You can change the text language if a device is in a language you cannot read (wrong language).

When the device is first powered on a product usage agreement screen will appear briefly. Select the Accept button at the bottom.

To Change the Text Language:

1. On the Magnifying Glass and Map icon screen, move the bottom row of icons over to the left until you see a Wrench icon. Then, touch the Wrench icon

2. Touch the Gears icon

3. Touch the fourth item (or the second to the last) in the list

4. Touch the gray box on the right side of the screen

5. Move the screen up or down until you find the desired language. Touch the desired language, then touch OK

• • • If text language is not in English, this is the second button down on the right

The device should now be in the selected text language.
