Viewing Speed With the inReach Mini 2

The inReach Mini 2 features a compass that will show your heading and, with up-to-date software, your speed. The Garmin Explore app can also be used to display your speed by enabling data fields on the map page.

Viewing Speed on the inReach Mini 2

1. Ensure that the software on the inReach Mini 2 is up to date.

2. From the home page, press  or  to scroll through the widget glances.

3. Use the OK button to select NAVIGATION.

4. Press to scroll down to the compass page.

   Speed will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

   

Displaying Speed in the Garmin Explore App

1. Open the Garmin Explore app.

2. Select  Map.

3. Select .

4. Select , then select Map Settings.

5. Touch Data Fields to toggle it on.

   • If the toggle is set to , the item is visible on the map.

 With Data Fields enabled, your heading, elevation, and speed will be displayed at the bottom of the map page.
