GDB_DATABASE.CPP or GEO_POSITION error when transferring data in MapSource
Description
The GDB DATABASE.CPP and GEO POSITION errors usually occur when there is a corrupt waypoint file that cannot be transferred.
Resolution
The error can be resolved by updating MapSource® mapping software.
If this does not resolve the issue, try the following:
- Open the MapSource program
- Look at the list of waypoints
- Find any waypoint(s) with:
- Duplicate Name
- Invalid Position
- Invalid Datum
- Right-Click on the waypoint(s)
- Click Delete Waypoint
Once the corrupted data is removed, the data will now transfer from the MapSource program.
