Turning Off Navigation Prompts on Automotive Devices

Navigation prompts are the verbal turn-by-turn directions the device provides when on a route. Some automotive devices will allow you to mute the navigation prompts only.

To Turn Off the Navigation Prompts on These Devices:

  1. Touch the Volume icon on the Where To? View Map screen
  2. Touch the Wrench icon, slider icon, or menu button (three horizontal lines)1
  3. Change the Navigation volume level to 0%
  4. Touch and hold the Back arrow to return to the Where To? View Map screen

This will turn off any voice prompts while navigating a route.
