How Do I Set the Permissions for My Garmin Connect App?

App permissions on your phone allow you to control what an app can access and do. To manage your phone's permissions for the Garmin Connect™ app, select your mobile device's platform below.

Android

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app.

  2. Select More (bottom right).

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select Phone Permissions.

  5. Select Manage Permissions.

iOS

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app.

  2. Select More (bottom right).

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select Phone Permissions.

  5. Select Manage Permissions.

We recommend that your phone settings look like the screenshots below as this allows full functionality of the Garmin Connect app and the device you have paired to the app:
