Ensure your Phone Meets System Requirements for the dēzl™ App:
Android phones and tablets require Android version 9.0 or later.
Wi-Fi and Cellular capability are required
The dēzl™ app will not be available in the Google Play Store if the app is incompatible with the device being used
Trying to install the app to an incompatible device from the Garmin website will prompt this error: "your device isn't compatible with this version"
iPhones and iPads require iOS 16.4 or later.
Wi-Fi and Cellular capability are required
- Apple only includes the GPS chipset in the Wi-Fi + Cellular models
Verify your Phone has the Required Permissions Enabled:

Check for Updates to the Phone’s Operating System:
To Check for Updates on Apple:

- Open the phone's Settings menu
- Touch General
- Touch Software Update
To Check for Updates on Android:

1. Touch the Apps menu (some phones skip this step)
2. Touch Settings or the Gear icon
3. Touch About Phone (some phones skip this step)
4. Touch Software Update or System Updates (you may need to scroll down the page)
5. Touch Download and install or Check for system updates (some phones skip this step)
6. Touch Download or Yes if updates are available
7. Touch Install Now
The phone should now check for and apply any necessary system updates.
