NOTE: HomePort™ software has been discontinued. For additional information regarding the discontinuation, see HomePort Application Discontinued

HomePort is a program that allows for the creation and editing of user data like waypoints, routes, and tracks. This user data can then be transferred to a Garmin device. To transfer this information, please read the following instructions:

  1. Open HomePort program
  2. Power the device ON and connect it to the computer using the USB cable
  3. Choose Yes if the message of "USB Cable Detected. Would you like to go to Mass Storage?" appears
  4. The user data in HomePort should appear on the left side of the program in the My Collection folder or any other folder that may have been created
  5. Right-click on the user data (either individual data or folder that contains the data) and choose Send To
  6. Choose the device that was connected (i.e. Oregon® 400c)
  7. Choose All Data

The information will now be copied to the device and can be viewed and used at anytime.
