Upload Training Center Files to a Garmin Connect Account

Activities from the Garmin Training Center® software can be uploaded to your Garmin Connect™ account on both PC and Mac by following the instructions below.

Windows:

  1. Open Training Center.

  2. Right-click an activity or week to export.

    NOTE: Training Center will allow the My Activities or Imported Activities folders to be exported all at once. However, exporting them individually or by week is recommended to ensure that file size limitations are not exceeded during the upload process.

  3. Select Export "[date/time]" or Export "[Date range]".

  4. Browse to the Desktop.

  5. Select Save.

  6. Sign into Garmin Connect.

  7. Select the import button Cloud with an uparrow.

  8. Select Import Data.

  9. Drag and drop the file(s) into the box from the Desktop or select Browse to select the files.

  10. Select Import Data.


Mac OS X:

NOTE: To open Training Center you will need a Mac computer operating on Mojave. Training Center will not open on computers running Catalina or higher. 

  1. Open Training Center.

  2. Select the activity or folder to transfer.

  3. Select File in menu bar.

  4. Select Send "[date/time]" to Garmin Connect.

  5. Enter the Username and Password for Garmin Connect. (Only required once).

  6. Select Continue.

The file(s) should now be available to view in Garmin Connect. Issues may occur when uploading to Garmin Connect due to file size limitation or if data from Training Center is corrupted. For more information on file size limitations, see Related content below.
