Calculate a Scenic Route on an Automotive Device

To calculate a more scenic route on an automotive device without creating a custom route, adjust the avoidances for major interstates and toll roads. This will cause the device to calculate routes on smaller highways and secondary roads, which are generally more scenic. 

To Change the Avoidances Setting:

1. Touch Tools
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Navigation
4. Touch Avoidances
5. Touch the Highways and Toll Roads options to place checkmarks next to them
   • Touch OK  to save the changes on the zumo 220

After following the above steps, the device will avoid larger highways, and should provide routes on smaller, more scenic roads.
