Capacitive Touchscreen Is Not Responding on an Automotive Device

Capacitive touchscreens are touch-sensitive screens. These screens sense electrical impulses from a fingertip. Styluses or gloved hands may not work.

The touchscreen is automatically calibrated each time the device turns on. There is no manual calibration option. A soft reset can be done to ensure the device is getting turned off and on to properly to calibrate the screen. See the video below for instructions:
