inReach Mini Menu Options
The main pages of the inReach® Mini handheld contain all the information you need to operate your device. You can select the Up or Down buttons to scroll through the pages, and you can press OK while viewing one of these pages to access additional settings and options. The information below explains what settings and options are available for each of the main pages.
Home Page
Displays the date, time, and status icons (Status Icons). It also displays tracking and weather information when those features are in use. The Main Menu can be accessed from this page to adjust most settings on the inReach Mini.
Press OK to open the Main Menu. Select "Complete List of Main Menu Options" below to see all of the Main Menu options and their sub-menus. For more details on what each of these settings and options are used for, refer to your owner's manual.
Messages Page
Press OK to send text messages or view your message history.
Mail Check Page
Displays when the last mail check was done. The inReach Mini handheld will listen for new messages for 10 minutes after you send a message, and then again every hour. Press OK to force a check for messages.
Tracking Page
Press OK to start and stop tracking. While tracking, this page shows your distance traveled and average speed.
Location Page
Displays your current GPS location and elevation.
Press OK for the following options:
Share Location: Send your location details as text within a message
Mark Waypoint: Saves a waypoint at your current location
Enable/Disable Page Timeout: When enabled, the device will return to the Home Page after 5 minutes. If this option is not available, update your inReach Mini (see Updating the Firmware and Syncing Account Information to an inReach Mini).
Setup: Allows you to change the unit settings
Compass Page
Displays your heading and speed when you are moving.
Press OK for the following options:
Enable/Disable Page Timeout: When enabled, the device will return to the Home Page after 5 minutes. If this option is not available, update your inReach Mini handheld (see Updating the Firmware and Syncing Account Information to an inReach Mini).
Setup: Allows you to change the unit settings
Bluetooth Page
Displays the Bluetooth status.
Press OK for the following options:
Status: Turns Bluetooth On or Off
Not Paired/Paired With (Phone Name): Displays whether or not the inReach Mini has been paired to a mobile device
Forget Device: Unpairs the inReach Mini handheld from the last mobile device it was paired to (this option will not appear if it has never been paired)
Pair Device/Pair Again: Select to pair the inReach Mini handheld with a compatible mobile device
Weather Page
Press OK to update the weather forecast or choose a different location for the weather forecast.
NOTE: Updating a forecast incurs data charges or additional usage charges.
