Create Custom User Grid for eTrex SE

You can setup a custom user grid for an eTrex® SE GPS navigator using the following steps:

Select User Grid for position format
Select Edit User Grid
Enter an originating longitude coordinate
Enter a scale (for example from a paper map)
Enter a false easting's and false northing's from the paper map (if these are not available, contact the map maker for this information)
Select User for map datum
Enter the DX, DY, DZ, DA, and DF (obtain from mapmaker)
The device will now have a grid system that matches the source
