Adding and Using Fixed Pins on a Xero A1 Series Sight

Xero® A1 Series bow sights allow users to use fixed pins as well as ranged pins. Select your device below for instructions on how to set fixed pins.

Setting Fixed Pins

Before you can set fixed pins, you must calibrate the bow sight for your current bow and arrow combination. For steps, see - Calibrating the Bow Sight.

  1. Press OK to open the Main Menu.
  2. Press right arrow xero to highlight the Pin Setup Menu pin setup , then Press OK.
  3. Press right arrow xero then press OK to select Fixed Pins. 
  4. Select  Add Pin
  5. Select a range
  6. Select a pin color
  7. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add additional fixed pins
  8. Press back arrow xero until you return to the Ready to Hunt screen

NOTE: The A1 series sights have a limit of 10 fixed pins.

How to View or Use the Fixed Pins

You have two options to access the fixed pins on the device. 

  1. Tap the trigger button and the sight will then display the fixed pins in distance order from top to bottom. The display will read Fixed Pins.
  2. The second option is to select  back arrow xero to change from ranged pin to fixed pin

Before you can set fixed pins, you must calibrate the bow sight for your current bow and arrow combination. For steps, see - Calibrating the Bow Sight.

  1. From the Ready to Hunt screen, press OK to access the Main Menu.
  2. Highlightpro sight and press OK.
  3. Select an arrow profile.
  4. Press right arrow xero to highlight Fixed Pins then press OK.
  5. Select Add Pin.
  6. Select a desired range.
  7. Select a pin color.
  8. If necessary, repeat steps 3 through 5 to add additional fixed pins.
  9. Select  back arrow xero until you are back to the Main Menu.
  10.  Select xero symbol  to enter back into Hunt mode.

NOTE: The A1 series sights have a limit of 10 fixed pins.
