My Garmin Fitness Device is in the Wrong Language
You can find steps for adjusting the language on your Garmin® device, after initial set up, by searching for Language in your owner's manual. If navigating the steps on the device is not working, follow either process below to change the language using your Garmin Connect™ account.
Garmin Connect App
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select your device.
Select the available option for your device:
General.
Device Settings > System.
System.
Select Language.
Select the correct language.
Sync your device.
Garmin Connect Web
NOTE: Devices with the Real Time Settings feature will not allow for settings changes on Garmin Connect web. For a compatibility list on this feature, please see: Real Time Settings in the Garmin Connect App.
Sign into Garmin Connect from a web browser.
Select the watch icon
(top right).
Select the device from the list.
Select General (if you do not see this option skip to step 5).
Select the drop-down menu for Language.
Select the correct language.
Select Save Settings.
Sync your device.
