My Approach S2 is in the Wrong Language

If your Approach® S2 golf watch is set to the wrong language and you need to change it, the below instructions will guide you through selecting the correct language. If the language is incorrect on your first usage of the watch, follow the steps for resetting the device.

Changing the Language

  1. Press and hold OK / Three lines.

  2. Press Down 3 times.

  3. Press OK / Three lines.

  4. Press OK / Three lines 3 times.

  5. Press Down until your language is shown.

  6. Press OK / Three lines until the time is shown.

You have now changed the language on your Approach S2 watch.

If you were unable to change the language on your watch using the steps above, the below instructions will guide you through the steps to reset your watch. You will be prompted to select a language after the reset, during initial setup. 

Resetting the Approach S2

  1. Press and hold Light/Power, wait up to 30 seconds until device powers off.

  2. Press and hold Down and Light/Power.

  3. Release both buttons when the screen displays Clear user data?

  4. Select Yes.

  5. The setup screen will appear and the device will be set back to default factory settings.

If you had customized settings, you will need to make these changes again. Bring the watch outdoors to a place with a clear view of the sky to connect to GPS satellites. This may take up to 20 minutes.

NOTE: Any scorecards saved to the watch will remain on the watch after a factory reset.
