Xero A1/A1i and A1i PRO Mounting System Differences
The mounting systems for the Xero® A1/A1i and Xero® A1i PRO bow sights are not compatible or interchangeable..
Xero Bow Sight Mount Attachment Differences
A prominent difference between the two mounts is how they attach to the bow.
Xero A1/A1i Bow Sight Mount Attachment
The mount for the Xero A1/A1i bow sight is attached to the support. The mount is attached directly to the frame of the bow.
Xero A1i PRO Bow Sight Mount Attachment
The mount for the Xero A1i PRO bow sight has a standard dovetail mount. One part is mounted to the bow frame and the part connected to the bow sight attaches to that already fixed mount. This provides an easy method to disconnect the bow sight for storage or transport. The Hoyt version the Xero A1i PRO sight can be attached by a Picatinny Rail. The same easy removal remains.
