Managing Multiple Camera Feeds on the BC 40 Wireless Backup Camera
You can pair up to four BC™ 40 wireless backup cameras with a compatible automotive device. For example, one camera can be mounted on the back of your vehicle and a second camera on the back of your trailer.
You can cycle through video feeds from all paired cameras in the camera view of the paired automotive device. For steps to pair a secondary camera to your automotive device, see Pairing Additional Cameras with a Garmin Navigation Device.
To Cycle Between Camera Feeds:
- Open the camera view of your automotive device.
- Steps to view the camera can be found in the device's owners' manual.
- Touch the
Change Camera icon. The video feed from the next camera will appear, with the name of the camera at the top of the screen.
- After adding a secondary camera to your transmitter, you can use your paired automotive device to rename the cameras, change the order in which they appear, or remove them.
To Rename a Camera Feed:
- Touch Settings
- Touch Wireless Camera or Backup Camera
- Select a camera to rename
- Select Rename
To Change the Order in which the Camera Feeds are Displayed:
- Touch Settings
- Touch Wireless Camera or Backup Camera
- Select a camera
- Select Set Default Camera and a list of paired cameras will appear
- Drag each camera to the desired location in the list. Cameras will appear in listed order, from top to bottom. The camera at the top of the list is the default camera and will appear first each time the camera view appears
To Remove a Camera Feed:
- Touch Settings
- Touch Wireless Camera or Backup Camera
- Select a camera
- Select Unpair
The camera feed will now be removed.
