NAVIGON Device and App Support Discontinued

NAVIGON was acquired by Garmin in the summer of 2011. In 2012 the sale of NAVIGON devices was discontinued.  Map updates and other additional products were still offered until May 2018. Up to May 2018, APPs and in-APP purchases could be purchased.  

NAVIGON continued to provide map and software updates for established customers until November 30th, 2020, and also provided product support via NAVIGON Customer Support.  

Effective December 1st, 2020, all NAVIGON products and NAVIGON Customer Support have been discontinued.  The APPs and in-APP purchases are no longer able to be reinstalled and updates are no longer available.

APPs already installed on a phone can still be used but without online services. For example, online functions like "TrafficLive", "Weather", "Fuel Prices" etc. are no longer available.

The NAVIGON devices can continue to be used in their current state.
