How Do I Change the Time and Date Format on My Paired Smartphone?

The date and upload time for activities in the Garmin Connect™ app will mirror the phone's date and time settings. To change the date and time format in the Garmin Connect app, you will need to change your phone's settings.

iOS

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.

  2. Select General.

  3. Scroll down and select Language & Region.

  4. Scroll down and select Region.

  5. Select the Region you want and then confirm.


Android

Android doesn't have a separate date option, rather it is tied into the language locale settings.

NOTE: The following are general steps and may not match your particular phone. If you cannot find these settings contact your phone manufacturer for specific instructions.

  1. Open the Android Settings app.

  2. Select System.

  3. Select Languages & Input.

  4. Select Languages.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to choose Language and Country (e.g. English UK).
