You May Need to Create a Password for Your Garmin Account

If you previously used Google, Facebook, or another social site to sign in to your Garmin account, you may need to set up a new password for signing in from now on. You will no longer be able to sign in to Garmin via these social sites.  

To Create a Garmin Password: 

1. On the Sign in screen select Forgot Password Note: If you are already signed in you will need to sign out to see Forgot Password.

1. Enter the email address you typically sign in with when signing in using a social network.
2. Select Recover Password
3. An email will be sent to you with a temporary password
4. Enter the temporary password into the password field of the account sign-in window
5. Enter a new password 

 You have now established a password that can be used for sign-in moving forward.
