How to do a Factory Reset during the initial Calibration of the Xero X1i Crossbow Scope
During the initial calibration process of the Xero® X1i Crossbow Scope, it may become necessary to start the procedure once more due to a minor mistake, incorrect button press, or accidental entry of incorrect information.
If such an error is made and the Xero X1i scopes needs to be reset before the end of the initial calibration process, the normal process of RESET ALL SETTINGS cannot be used due to the incomplete initial setup.
Accessing Demo Mode for a Factory Reset
- Turn the Xero X1i scope off by holding OK / PWR until the display asks you if you want to Power Off.
- Select Yes.
- Turn the Xero X1i scope on by holding OK / PWR until the unit powers up.
- SELECT A LANGUAGE will ask you to select the language to be displayed.
Press OK / PWR to confirm the selection. - UNIT OF MEASUREMENT will ask you to select the type of measure to be displayed.
Press OK / PWR to confirm the selection. - Select to enter DEMO MODE and confirm YES by pressing OK / PWR.
Performing a Factory Reset in the System Menu
- Once in DEMO MODE, press OK / PWR to access the Main Menu of the Xero X1i scope.
- Verify that you do NOT want to exit DEMO MODE.
- Access the Main Menu again and scroll to > SYSTEM.
- Select RESET ALL SETTINGS.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to finish the Factory Reset.
