Updating Green Contours for Garmin Golf Products

With a Garmin Golf™ Membership Subscription, your compatible Garmin golf device can automatically update Green Contours by syncing with the Garmin Golf™ app. For more information on Green Contours, see Green Contour Data on our Garmin Technology page. Green Contours can also be viewed in the Garmin Golf app on your phone.

Downloading Green Contours

Updating Courses in the App

To manually update the Green Contour data on your phone follow the steps below:

1. Open the Garmin Golf™ app on your phone.

2. Select .

3. Select Start a Round.

4. Search your desired course.

5. Select next to the desired course. If Green Contours are available, they will download with the rest of the course.

Updating Green Contours on a Compatible Garmin Device

The five golf courses you use most frequently will be updated automatically when your device is paired and synced with the Garmin Golf app. For steps to manually update the Green Contours for your compatible device, use the steps below:

1. Open the Garmin Golf™ app on your phone.

2. Start a golf activity on your compatible device.

   NOTE: See Understanding Green Contours and Compatible Garmin Golf Products for list of compatible devices.

3. Select a course that has green contours available.

4. Follow the on-screen prompts to start the round.

5. When prompted, keep your phone nearby as the Green Contours download to the compatible device.

6. Once prompted with the completion of the download, press any button to finish the process.

After the download has finished, finish the on-screen prompts to proceed with your round. The Green Contour data will show when viewing the green display.
