Which Terrain Resolution should I download for my G500 or G600?

The G500 and G600 flight displays are able to install different Terrain resolutions, including 4.9 and 9 Arc Second.

4.9 Arc Second

• For G500 or G600 with GDU SW versions of 7.00 or later, the 4.9 arc second terrain database should be installed.

9 Arc Second

• For G500 or G600 with GDU SW versions prior to 7.00, the 9 arc second terrain database should be installed.

The current installed software version for the G500 and G600 is displayed on the database splash screen after start up.
