Disabling Hands-Free Calling without Disabling Smartphone Link

Smartphone Link is automatically enabled to play audio/phone calls through the Garmin device.  This can be disabled in order to receive phone call audio through your vehicle speakers.

To disable hands-free calling:

1. Touch Settings  

2. Touch Bluetooth

3. Touch the name of your connected phone

4. Touch the box next to Phone calls to remove the checkmark

This will still allow a data connection from the device for the Smartphone Link feature and allow you to pair your phone to your Hands-Free system in your vehicle or Bluetooth headset if desired.
