Using the Display on Tacx NEO Bikes
The Tacx® NEO Bike and Tacx® NEO Bike Plus smart trainers feature a built in display that can be conveniently customized during a ride.
Entering Customization Mode
To enter the mode to customize the display, click the control buttons on the inside of the right and left shifter at the same time:
Customization Options
While in customization mode pressing both buttons add the same time will cycle through the different fields. Once you have the field/setting you want to customize selected, select either the right or left button individually to cycle through the available options.

1 | Option to show resistance, slope, or power training mode. See table below for icon reference. |
2 | Usually this icon will reflect the front gear, however in this mode it represents the fan speed between low, medium, or high. |
3 | Power watts in current, or 3, 5, 10, or 30 second averaging. |
4 | Speed in kilometers or miles per hour |
Training Mode Icons
Symbol | Mode | Description |

![]() | Resistance | Training is based on 20 possible resistance levels so you can ride without a specific target, such as a spin class. You can use the control buttons to change the resistance level. |
![]() | Slope | Training is based on a fixed incline so you can simulate gradients and hills. You can use the control buttons to set the incline and use the shifters to change gears. |
![]() | Power | Training is based on a fixed power output value so you can ride at a controlled and constant effort level. You can use the control buttons to set the value. |
