Where Do I Find the Serial Number for My Child's Device?

The serial number is an important identification number unique to each device. The serial number can be used to register your product, check warranty status, and may be asked for by a Garmin associate when contacting Product Support. The serial number can be found on the original box it came in (usually a white label with a barcode under the serial number), however if the original packaging has already been recycled you can find the serial number in two more places for the following watches:

  • vívofit® jr.

  • vívofit® jr. 2

  • vívofit® jr. 3

  • Bounce™

Serial Number on the Watch Module:

  1. On the back of the module you should see a sticker with this information.

  2. The serial number (sometimes listed as SN or s/n) will be a combination of 9 letters or numbers, without spaces or dashes.

    1. For the vívofit jr. watches, remove the module from the band. For help see: Replacing the Wrist Band on a vivofit Watch.

Serial Number in the Garmin Jr.™ App:

NOTE: These steps will only work if watch is paired to the Garmin Jr. app.

  1. Open the Garmin Jr. app.

  2. Select the Child's Profile.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select Device Details.

  5. From the Device page you should see: Model, Software Version, and Serial Number.
